At Loyalist, we collect personal information (name, email, unique loyalty identifier) when you register as a Customer or Business. We also log your interactions on the platform, such as visits and claimed rewards.
2. Use and Sharing of Data with Businesses
Our platform is designed to foster connection between customers and local businesses. By scanning your QR code at an affiliated business, you authorize that business to register your visit and public name.
- Standard Businesses (Core / Pro): Will only have access to your public name, aggregate metrics, and accumulated points.
- 'Elite' Tier Businesses: When you interact with a business subscribed to the Elite plan, they will have visible access to your registered email. This allows them to include you in their direct marketing campaigns.
3. Business Commitment
We require all affiliated businesses to handle customer contact information with absolute responsibility. Email usage is strictly restricted to:
- Sending exclusive promotions and notices about your rewards.
- Strict prohibition of selling or sharing your info with external third parties.
Abuse of this information will result in permanent expulsion from the Loyalist Network.
4. Protection and Security
Loyalist does not sell or trade your personal information. We employ industry-standard encryption to protect your data from unauthorized access.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request the total deletion of your account at any time. Doing so will anonymize your transaction history in business ledgers, guaranteeing your right to be forgotten.
6. Staff Terminal Tracking
For businesses using the Staff Terminal, we securely log the Staff UUID during transactions to prevent fraud and provide accountability and auditing to the business owner.
